IEEE 2007 Workshop on MMSP, Panorama Hotel, Chania, Crete, Greece, October 1 - 3, 2007

Student Paper Contest

The MMSP 2007 and the MUSCLE network of excellence are co-organizing the MMSP 2007 student paper contest. Student authors must be registered and attend MMSP to receive the awards. Four best student paper awards will be given out, each with a 500 euros prize to students participating at the workshop. Only papers with students as the first author are eligible. Please make sure that you select the check-box "eligible for student paper award" when submitting your MMSP 2007 paper.

The MMSP 2007 student paper contest is kindly sponsored by the MUSCLE project: Multimedia Understanding through Semantics, Computation and Learning. MUSCLE is an EC-sponsored Network of Excellence that aims at establishing and fostering closer collaboration between research groups in multimedia data-mining and machine learning. The Network integrates the expertise of over forty research groups working on image and video processing, speech and text analysis, statistics and machine learning. For more information see the MUSCLE web site.
